Love Muffins

I love this video so much I want to die when I watch it. I've never seen anything cuter then these two. Don't believe me? Watch and eat your...doubtful thoughts.

If you didn't believe me don't you feel stupid? Ah. I died.

US Weekly

Perhaps one of my favorite moments of the week. Going to the mailbox and getting out my US Weekly mag. Taking it to work and actually feeling like I have a friend to eat lunch with. Coming up with my own conclusion on whether the stories I'm reading that day are fact or fiction. Catching up with everyone in h-wood thats pregnant and due around the same time as me (I'm so trendy). Make ups and break ups galore! And of course "Who wore it better?", I'll judge for myself.

I know what you're thinking. How can Liz possibly like this stuff? Easily, thats how. I love reading Hollywood gossip and drama. Its even better if its paired with a diet coke. That was one of the first things David learned about me. If I'm stressed or in a bad mood, a gossip mag and a diet coke are sure fire ways to cheer me up. Silly as it seems I really do look forward every week to getting my new one. They're so in demand at work I have to constantly have a grip on it or it might just get stolen out of my little hand. Thank you US Weekly for brightening up my life :]

Liz's Pregnancy Facts

1. I've been growing for a while but my stomach really popped on 2/22/2011
2. I started feeling weird bubbles a while ago but my nurse told me that it doesn't necessarily mean its the baby. It can also be things moving in there to give the uterus room to grow.
3. I felt my first actual baby kick on Wednesday 3/9/2011. It was the coolest thing ever. I pressed my hand up against where I felt her and she actually kicked against my little hand. Best moment in this pregnancy so far.
4. I've learned that some pregnancy symptoms come sooner then I thought they would. Like I was out of breath within the first month of finding out I was pregnant. Now I'm uncomfortable like all the time and if I'm laying down I have to throw my leg in the air for leverage to get my fat body up.
5. Its such a cliche but I've learned what everyone meant when they said you have to go to the bathroom all the time. I felt like that started really early too.
Side note: I've always had such a huge bladder that when I have to go to the bathroom its like a big relief because I had to pee so bad. Now when I have to go so bad I expect a lot more and I have very anti-climatic pees. (sorry if that's an over share, its true)
6. I still haven't taken any belly shots and I really need to. I'm getting bigger everyday it feels like.
7. Its the weirdest thing to be so hungry and also have your stomach feel so full because there just isn't much room in there.
8. I've known that I'm pregnant for longer then I have left. Scary!
9. We have a killer trip to Vegas planned as a final get a way in May. I'm pretty sure I'll fit right in walking down the strip 7 months prego :]
10. David and I have changed name options...kinda. Alexis is still one but now the other option is Kaylee. Thoughts?
11. I'm an emotional wreck. If David even looks at me crooked I get tears in my eyes. Its a joke...poor David.
12. I live in my pajamas as much as possible. Yes, even to Costco on Saturday. I'm that girl.
13. I don't know if I'm really craving anything in particular. I crave lots of things randomly. Juice has been a big thing I've really taken up. Cheese sandwiches (which I haven't eaten since I was like 8) and hot dogs from Maverick (don't knock that until you try it folks.) Oh and I learned from my Dr that hot dogs as long as they're reheated are totally fine to eat. Thank goodness for that because I don't know if I would have made it through that couple weeks where I've never wanted one more.

I promise I'm going to take a belly shot this week and I'll scan in some of the ultrasound pics. Despite being uncomfortable and emotional I really am loving being pregnant. There is a lot to complain about when you're pregnant but I decided a long time ago that I know that I'm happier being pregnant with those things to complain about then not being pregnant at all so I'm going to enjoy crying my eyes out at commercials and going to the bathroom on the hour religiously.

Judge me

I'm a Blieber. Judge me. Here's my new favorite song

He actually kinda sounds like a boy in this song so thats a step in the right direction. But in general I like Justin Bieber and I'll stand up for him. He's cute to his fans, he has a good voice and is a pretty great dancer, and his songs are catchy. Try to listen to "Baby" without singing it for the rest of the day. Impossible. In fact I'm singing it in my head right now just from typing that sentence. Favorite part of my work day? Driving home singing Justin Bieber at the top of my lungs :]

Happpppy, Happpppy, Haaaappy

That was the song that my little man Noah sang last night because he knew it was his birthday and he knew the song started with Happy... Haha it was adorable.
Member this little guy? Well now he is a big 2 year old guy. I swear he gets cuter by the day. He's talking more and more and can go from having more energy then the energizer bunny to cuddling on your lap in a matter of seconds. Yesterday was his 2nd birthday and he had a pretty fun birthday party last night. No Nap Noah was pretty entertaining :] I can't believe how fast this little man is growing up. It seems like a minute ago when I met his mom Shelli and she was pregnant with the little "parasite" as she called him. Haha (now I have a little something in me I can call a parasite Shelli. I've been waiting for this day) Now he can show me all his trucks and animal toys, talk/ramble up a storm, and give some pretty wet kisses. I seriously love his guts.

Ideal Day of Work

Today we only had 10 surgeries at my work. We normally have 35-40 plus all the labs that come in so we stay pretty busy. My coworkers and I decided that we needed to celebrate this extremely slow day so we all brought treats to share. The picture above says it all. It was a pretty good day. I am, however, ready for my sugar coma nap.

Speak Up Sonny!

I just wanted to tell you about my random hearing issues. Like 3 years ago I was cleaning out my ear with a Qtip and I think I went a little overboard in my right ear. I kind of love the feeling of scratching your ear with a Qtip and I must have gone a little too far or something because all the sudden it was plugged. I thought I'd be able to unplug it right away but no such luck. It stayed plugged for a day or so and then unplugged itself but for 3 years everytime I laid on my right side it would plug again. I kind of got a system down where I knew how to unplug it after I woke up so one night it plugged while I was laying on our couch so I did my usual to get it to unplug. It wasn't having it. It was plugged all night and I was going crazy. That was a Saturday. It was plugged all Sunday and I thought I was going to lose my mind. I knew I needed to stop trying to unplug it because I was just irritating it more but I couldn't stop bugging it. So I stopped touching it Sunday afternoon. It was plugged until Thursday night. Can you talk about torture? I'm pretty sure we all take our hearing for granted. At work I had to keep asking patients "I'm sorry what?" I got several dirty looks probably because I would turn my head to the right so I could hear with my left ear. Who knows what they thought I was doing. I'm sure I looked like an idiot. Thursday night I had just showered and was about to go to bed. I had had a towel around my hair so it had been over my ear also. When I shook my hair out I stuck my finger in my ear for just a second and kind of snapped it upward to get the water out and whatever and my ear unplugged. I held my breath thinking it was just going to replug itself and I wanted to enjoy the 10 seconds I had. When it didn't replug I yelled "DAVID!" He was sitting right outside our bathroom at the computer so there was no need to yell but I was so excited I couldn't stand it. When I heard my own voice I scared myself with how loud I was. All the sudden I was so thrown off. Sound was loud and kind of echoing. I felt like I had just gotten hearing for the first time. The sound of my toothbrush and the water in the sink was blowing my mind. I wondered if in 5 days I had just really become accustomed to only being able to hear out one ear or what but I think I've figured it out. My ear doesn't plug anymore when I lay on my right side. I have no idea what I did but I guess for 3 years my ear was always kind of plugged. When it unplugged that glorious Thursday night it like completely unplugged. It took a couple days for me to get used to hearing with 2 ears, seriously! haha It also made me wonder how many people I had been screaming at because I realized how freaking loud I am. Sorry if I screamed at you in the last 3 years without knowing it, I didn't know what I was doing :]
